The workshop will take place at the Union Club, 50 Greek Street, W1D 4EQ on Sunday 19 March 2023, 12-3pm. Each performer will have 20 minutes with Laura Bird, culminating in a short performance.

 

aura trained at the Royal Academy of Music, gaining a distinction in Musical Theatre and the year prize for Acting Through Song, before beginning her career as 'Rizzo' in GREASE for Royal Caribbean. Since then, she has performed in a variety of shows including as a featured soloist in Europe's largest Christmas show, the Thursford Christmas Spectacular. She recently completed the 20th Anniversary UK tour of We Will Rock You as featured Ensemble & understudy Killer Queen, and appeared in 'Judy: No Place Like Home' at the Lyric theatre in London's West End.

 

Laura can regularly be found running workshops through her organisation, the Hungry Actors' Club, and performing at cabarets in & around London. In her spare time, she is training in Mental Health and psychology and is a Crisis text line volunteer.
